Today is Barry Gibb's birthday.  This man and his brothers have brought so much joy to my life with their incredible music.  I am thankful that I had the opportunity to see the Bee Gees perform live twice.  Andy, Maurice, and Robin are terribly missed.

The State Fair of Texas food competition was held yesterday, and the best new fair treat award was given to...........Carrot Cake!  Can't wait to try it!

We love it when it is time to celebrate anything CHERRY!!!!!  It's National Cherry Turnover Day!!!!! YUM!
