We found this beauty on the island of Murano in Italy.  Naturally, it had to come home with me!

We are huge fans of Cupcake Wine, and were thrilled to learn that they have introduced a new red!  Welcome Black Forest!!

My husband and I just returned from the most amazing trip of a lifetime to Northern Italy and Southern France.  We enjoyed so many delectable treats from every Patisserie and Boulangerie  we came across, but we didn’t eat a single cupcake.  Why?  Because we couldn’t find any!!  The cupcake image was very prolific, advertising everything from shoes to mall anniversaries, but the actual edible treat was only seen in the large La Rinascente department store in Milan.  So what do you make of the fact that the image is everywhere, but the real thing is not?

Okay, you are probably growing tired of hearing me gush about this fall weather, but it’s only going to get worse!  We had a great time last night with a beautiful picnic at the Arboretum while listening to a fantastic Chicago cover band.  Then I awoke this morning to a great cool, crisp fall morning.  This is inspiring!!!  Hope you are finding rejuvenation too!!!
