Okay, you are probably growing tired of hearing me gush about this fall weather, but it’s only going to get worse! We had a great time last night with a beautiful picnic at the Arboretum while listening to a fantastic Chicago cover band. Then I awoke this morning to a great cool, crisp fall morning. This is inspiring!!! Hope you are finding rejuvenation too!!!
It is officially Pumpkin Spice season. If you haven’t tried Oh My! Catery’s Pumpkin Cupcakes, then you are really missing out!
The blood moon was awesome, although it was a bit cloudy, so I didn’t get the full effect that some others did based on the incredible photos I’ve seen. One of my favorites was done by local photographer Mike Mezeul II, of Mike Mez Photography. Check out his cool image.

Just got to hear the keynote address from Popeyes Cheryl Bachelder. Cheryl and her team have made an incredible impact on the entire Popeyes organization, and they have done so by serving others first. The undeniable results of her approach is simply astounding. I hope Oh My! Catery can follow her example. Great way to spend National Women in Business Day!
At the MUFSO conference getting a lot of restaurant business insights, but by far the coolest part has been meeting Gene Simmons! My photos are all horrible, but here’s his autograph! 
I have enjoyed being a part of the Association of Wedding Professionals in Dallas, and serving as secretary for this great organization. Receiving a beautiful token of appreciation is just the Cherry On Top!
